Our Trip to France (September 2004). A few nights in Paris and a week in a a superb cottage just south of the Dordogne (near St Antonin sur Noble Val). Amazing scenery amongst villages many of which have streets and houses dating back to the 13th century.

Historic Racing at Donington Park 4/5th May 2002. High quality racing - very full grids and some longish races. (25 mins/60 mins) almost all with entertaining race-long battles. It made for some great sights - Cooper Ss chasing MKII jags. Old TVRs mixing it with Morgans and every sort of custom bodied Spridget (Lenham, Sebring etc). E-types, cobras, Astons. etc etc.

Last summer, Alex and I took the oppurtunity to go gliding for the evening at the local RAF Base. I got a couple of flights and a few beers afterwards. A nice realxing evening really.

Last year (during the world cup final), some bloke landed a glider just over the road. He'd run aout of thermals (actually altitude for the pedants) so decided to put it down here. Unfortunately he bust the undercarriage but I don't think it was serious.
